“Jesus is our Teacher, powerful in words and deeds. Jesus sends us all the light that illuminates the sometimes dark path of our existence; He also sends us the strength required to overcome problems, challenges, temptation. Let us think what a great grace it is for us to have known such a powerful and good God! A teacher and a friend, who shows us the way and looks after us, especially when we are in need”. These were the words of Pope Francis when reciting the Angelus on 28 January 2018.
“May the Virgin Mary, a woman who listened, help us to silence everything around and inside us so that amidst the din of the world’s messages we may hear the most authoritative Word there is: that of her Son Jesus, who announces the meaning of our existence and frees us from all slavery, including that by the Devil”.
